Evening guys,
Little bit of a late one, just had a nice little depression nap and woke up at 9:30. Fukin kill me, not gonna be able to sleep for years now.
I got tinder the other day, and it’s funny how you forget just how bad it is (Or maybe it’s because I don’t get any matches).
Anyways, I was speaking to a friend the other day and she said “You’re willing to try new things, and that’s a good trait you have”. Looking back over uni this is something that I’ve definitely developed over time. I used to only like gaming, staying in my room, and getting drunk. Anything that was out of my comfort zone was a no from me. Anything that scared me, I immediately brushed off as not for me or too difficult.
Such a silly way of thinking, you could be missing out on a whole world of something, just because you wont try it.
I think it’s so important to push your comfort zone, try new things, it’ll broaden your perspective and you never know what you’ll find. Maybe you don’t like the thing that you try, but you meet someone amazing that does it and you guys become best friends.
A good portion of my friends that are around now, I’ve met through things I never thought I’d try; Longboarding, Jiujitsu, Music ect.
So next time someone invites you to go to something you’re not too sure about, or you see a poster that looks interesting, (or you see me on tinder) just go for it! One time won’t kill you!
Peace ❤
