Buy some exotic niceness.

Good night u sexyness,

I hope you’re having a nice evening, I’ve just woken up from a nap at 11pm, and realised I have an hour to post. There’s no way I’m getting to sleep at a regular time tonight… in other words: I’ve fucked it. On a brighter note though, I’ve completed my uni degree! Honestly never thought I’d see the day, but now I can fully welcome unemployment with open arms.

So I was having a conversation today with an old flatmate about life. It was getting pretty deep and he was complaining about the price of products imported from zimbabwe, his home country. I thought he was just moaning about having to pay more, but he explained that if it wasn’t for people buying those products here in the UK, then the producers of those products go bust. This would mean that his people would be out of jobs and more poverty would be created.

It took me back a little because it made me think about where products actually come from, and the impact on the local communities those products must have. It’s kind of easy to disconnect from these places when all we see of them are some neatly packaged products.

A lot of people wonder how we can help some of the smaller countries, I think buying some of their imported products instead of the big supermarket giants would help support their economy.

Peace ♥️
